SEE THE VISION

Week 3 -2014-July 20-25 386.JPG

Campfire Ministries Vision is to develop Camp Bob into expanded and multi-Seasonal programs.  In Order to facilitate the growth of our programs, we are continually improving the infrastructure at camp bob.

Camp bob is a young camp that literally sprung up out of the forest floor in 2002. Accessible by water and hiking trail only for the first 12 years, a road was finally constructed into camp bob in 2014. with year-round accessibility now possible, development has taken on a new perspective allowing us to improve on much needed infrastructure. for more of the history of camp Bob, click on Camp Bob's Story

HYDRO ELECTRIC POWER

TOTAL FUNDS NEEDED: $80,000

Camp Bob’s location is ‘off the grid’ from any Hydro services.  To date, our power requirements have been managed using portable generators.  With increasing power demands to facilitate Kitchen needs, First Aid, Water Supply Management and Sewerage System Management, we are at the point of requiring a consistent and lower maintenance source of power.  Our closest access to Hydro is at Hwy 19 and would require approximately two kilometers of power line and 16 poles to bring in power and service Camp Bob.

Campfire Ministries is currently raising funds to make this Project happen in the next couple of years.
