Everyone remembers camp ... and everyone who has ever attended camp ... remembers the mark it left on your life.

We, at Campfire Ministries, are looking for people to partner with us to make Camp Bob the place that every child remembers for the rest of their life.

You can help!

Sponsor a child :: Help a child come to Camp

  • $235 will send 1 child to camp for 1 week this summer

Specify "Camper Bursary Fund" on the memo line of your cheque.

Sponsor a Staff :: Helping Staff who help Kids

Our "Student Bursary Fund" is designed to assist post-secondary students returning to school and is divided between those who apply for assistance

  • Most of our summer staff are volunteers
  • Many of our volunteers are high school and post-secondary students who willingly give up 8 weeks of their summer to make a positive impact on children and youth
  • Post secondary education is expensive, and a summer volunteering at camp has significant financial implications for students returning to college or university

Please consider "Helping a student who helps Kids" by helping a student go back to school

Equipment Needs for Summer 2012

Below is a list of important equipment we need to improve and upgrade our programs

  • 4 - Coleman Canoes - $2000
  • Archery equipment - $500
  • Climbing equipment - $1500
  • Custom Tarp for Dining area - $1200
  • New Fridge - $1500
  • New Freezer - $1500
  • 17 - 19 ft ski boat - c/w outboard  - $6000?
  • 25 - 30 hp outboard motor w/tiller - $1500 ?
  • boat and swim docks (2013 project) - $10,000

Campfire Ministries will accept donations, pledges and commitments toward these projects.

All donations will receive an income tax-deductible receipt from 'CAMPFIRE MINISTRIES.'
